Welcome
I live on a farm in rural Northamptonshire, amongst beautiful countryside, surrounded by wildlife.
I have been brought up in an agricultural environment, and I have always had a keen interest in farming and livestock, and both keep and rear my own stock. My dogs have also played a major part through my life too.
On the farm I have some Kune Kune pigs, which give me great inspiration for paintings. They have wonderful characters and amusing personalities, together with lovely temperaments. Each one is different with their quirky ways, and they guarantee to make me smile every day.
Drawing and painting nature, wildlife and animals brings me great pleasure and satisfaction. I enjoy taking my own photographs and if possible get as close as I can to the subject to study their form enabling me to capture expression and spirit. Each subject is individual and different, presenting me with a new challenge. Predominantly I paint in oils and pastels.
